Six years ago, yesterday, I gave birth to my first daughter! We treasured her as a miracle. After having 3 miscarriages before her and signs of miscarrying in the early stages of her pregnancy, I was put on bed rest with fear of losing another baby. After the twelve week mark, we saw that sweet heartbeat beating strong! Six months later, Melissa was born, Praise the Lord!
Melissa is a sweet little girl. She loves to be around friends. It's been a joy to watch Melissa learn so quickly in school this year. She is already doing simple addition and reading/recognizing many words. Melissa is definitely a "girlie" girl! She loves all things pink and sparkly.
Melissa has a sensitive heart towards the Lord. She made a decision to follow the Lord when she was 4. I can see fruit in her life. It's a blessing to watch her spirit grow in the things of the Lord. I pray that she continues to grow into the meaning of her names!
